Family Liaison Officer
Our Family Liaison Officer is: Mrs Kerry Jones
Her role will be to continue to liaise between parents and the school and to be a point of contact and support for parents and children if they have any issues they wish to raise. The role includes contact with the Education Welfare Officer regarding unexplained absences and infrequent attendance issues as well as liaising with outside agencies such as the school nurse and the school Bereavement Contact.
A FLO has many links with specialist organisations and support services. All enquiries will be dealt with in strict confidence. She will organise events for parents and children and assist with the transition from primary to secondary school.
