ICT/Typing

As well as reinforcement of computer/program disciplines, shortcut keys and general keyboard skills, all children from year 1 to year 6, over a period of time, are being taught to touch type. 

The sessions are in 4 - 6 week blocks and each child has a computer to his/herself.  Appropriate challenges are set at each stage so they can monitor their progress.  Many of our children are keen to learn touch typing and voluntarily continue practising in their own time.
