Jewellery & Personal Possessions

We would appreciate your co-operation in the following matters:

Jewellery: 

For health and safety reasons children are asked not to wear jewellery to school. For those who have pierced ears, we ask that they do not wear earrings to school.  If this is not possible, they must only wear studs.  These will need to be removed by the child for PE activities otherwise the child will not be able to participate in PE, which is an important part of the curriculum.  

Please note: staff are not permitted to remove or replace studs for children, nor are they able to accept them for safe keeping. 

Children who do remove their studs in school will need to bring a small named container in which to store them.

Personal Possessions:

Children are asked not to bring valuables to school as we cannot ensure their safe keeping.
