Our Work
News from Tiger Class
Term 6:
It's a Bugs Life.
Our topic all about Minibeasts started with a great visit to Shorne Woods Country Park, even the torrential rain stopped when we got off the coach.
In class we have been researching all about invertebrates and make fact files and information posters about them.
We are learning about their characteristics, habitats, behaviour and where they are on the food chain and many more facts.
Here is some of our work but there is lots more to see on Open Afternoon:
Term 5:
In class this term we are learning about the Victorians, our topic is called ‘We are not amused' as this was a phrase that Queen Victoria was said to use often. So far this term we have looked at Victorian housing this photograph shows our class display on our ideas for selling a Victorian house.
We have also been finding out that the Victorians were great inventors and the following two photographs show some of our presented research.
Term 4: Body Bits.
This term in Tiger class we have been learning about how our body works. We have learnt a great deal about our different organs as you can see from our displays. We investigated in Science who had the greatest lung capacity and in Literacy we wrote acrostic poems about the many functions of our hearts and how to look after them.
